I retired thankfully from my career as an IT Consultant a few years ago, at a very early age. It was a blessed relief. I had already identified where I was going next. As an amateur actor for several decades I had used my voice to what I believe to be good effect, and felt that it might be good enough to provide the springboard for a complete change of direction.

Consequently I have now been accepted as a professional audiobook narrator (UK) for BeeAudio, an American company which recently set up a UK operation. You can find their website at http://www.beeaudio.com and if you look under “UK Narrators” you’ll find me. BeeAudio’s business model determines that their narrators should have their own studios; the days of having to hire expensive dedicated studios from specialist audio companies are now largely over at the individual’s level. So, I have my own recording facility from which I can produce professional quality output.
